The anticipated new computer program from Hi-Tech Tennis
Research Co., called "NR/2.0 Tennis Charting System" is a
breakthrough for coaches and touring pros. It is slated to be
on the market by March 2021.
For the first time, coaches or parents will be able to use a
laptop computer to obtain statistics in the same way it's
done in all other pro sports, i.e., charting all strokes hit during
the entire match instead of the old method of first and last shot
only. Under the old system, everything happening during each
point was not included or recorded. The new Net Results 2.0
Program is the technical breakthrough that misses nothing
and includes everything.

How does it work?
Until recently, laptop computer programs or Phone Apps for the sport of tennis have been limited to the basic stats of:
1) the beginning and
2) ending of each point.
Everything in between the first and last shot of each point was lost. Due to this problem, statistical stroke analysis has been extremely limited and unreliable and is, in fact, often misleading to tennis players. This is why stats have been rarely used in coaching tennis. Stats have been interesting and entertaining at best for a TV audience, but not seriously applicable for coaching purposes.
